My New Fall Transition Wardrobe Essentials

fall transition wardrobe essentials

September 2017

It's the start of September, and summer is finally coming to an end. It's a bit of a bummer, as I love summer and this past one has been one of the best summers I've ever had in my life.

However, with a new season comes new opportunities for new adventures. And that is always exciting! In particular, transitioning into the Fall season means refreshing my wardrobe, welcoming the joy of layering (hello cozy sweaters!), and my favourite part which is shopping for new investment pieces. My new fall wardrobe essentials to transition into this season are:

► The Kahlo Jacket in Bone from the Aritzia Babton line. I absolutely love the drapey satin material which feels luxurious and is tailored in a super sleek style. I absolutely adore how it elevates any outfit and exudes sleek and sophisticated chic style. I'm sure I'll be wearing this a lot this season.

► The Céline Micro Luggage Bag in Stone Baby. I've had my eye on this bag for a while, and found the perfect earthy neutral colour for the new season.

► The Skagen steel mesh watch in Gold & Silver. I haven't worn a watch on my wrist in a few years, as I used to wear a boyfriend style watch but it started to feel very heavy and bulky after a while, so I retired it. I decided it was finally time to get a watch and not rely on my smartphone for the time. I didn't want to spend a lot of money as this was more for function than luxury or fashion. So, I decided to treat myself to something simple and was glad to be able to find a sophisticated watch like this one at Nordstrom. This watch is the perfect size for me as it is delicate and looks like jewelry, yet has a sleek style that makes me feel confident in a very adult way. My favourite thing is that the two tone silver and gold colours match with the jewelry I always wear.
